“HISTORY AND MYSTERY” Discover history, mystery, and adventure in the underwater world of shipwrecks! Enroll in the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course and learn how to safely and responsibly explore sunken vessels and their ecosystems. Wreck diving is a unique and fascinating activity that appeals to divers of all levels and interests. Whether you are interested in maritime history, marine life, or technical diving, wreck diving offers something for everyone. However, wreck diving also involves certain risks and challenges that require specialized training and equipment. During the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course, you will learn how to plan, organize, and execute wreck dives. You will learn about the different types of wrecks, their history, and their impact on the marine environment. You will also learn about the specialized equipment and techniques used in wreck diving, such as wreck penetration, line handling, and buoyancy control. You will also learn how to anticipate and manage potential hazards, such as entanglement, siltation, and penetration limits. The course includes a knowledge development section that you can complete online at your own pace before meeting with your instructor for four wreck dives. During these dives, you will practice your new skills and explore different wreck sites, ranging from shallow to deep, from intact to deteriorated. You will observe the marine life that inhabits the wrecks, such as corals, sponges, fish, and crustaceans. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty Course is a challenging and rewarding course that will enhance your diving skills and broaden your horizons. It is also a prerequisite for other PADI courses, such as the PADI Deep Diver certification and the PADI Technical Wreck Diver certification. Select a date you would like to start and we will contact you to discuss the course and dates. COURSE DETAILS: Minimum age: 15 yrs. Adventure Diver and above. Duration: 2 days. Dives: 4 Dives. Equipment: All equipment included. Options: Extra dives and trips to Arona shipwreck options. Our hotel collections typically start around 9:15 am, but this may vary slightly depending on your location. From there, we will drive to the diving site and begin our diving excursions. After completing the dives, we will return to the starting point and transport you back to your hotel around 14:30pm. Please note that the return time may vary depending on the location.
